Labels for the clothing industry

Specificity of labelling in the clothing industry

In the case of clothing, the aesthetics of the labels used to mark it comes to the fore as a large part of labels, in addition to the informative function, play an image role here, which should attract attention and be associated with a specific brand. Thus, it is worth using tags with two-sided color-matched print and/or print improvement enriching the aesthetic value. We use raw materials of high quality to produce clothing tags, most often cardboard with the weight of 170 g/m2, with a small hole used to hang to the product and frequently with a perforation making it easier to tear off a part of the tag. Another labelling group, i.e. stuck directly to the clothes one (e.g. concerning sizes), requires using materials with a special adhesive which does not damage fabrics. It is also possible to print variable data during the manufacturing process.
