RFID systems are used where it is important for the precise determination of large quantities of goods or facilities. The technology is gaining an advantage over traditional bar codes especially in processes where contact between the marking and the optical reader can be difficult.

An important feature of RFID based logistic systems is their resistance to low temperatures or dirt, which makes them great for marking of stored goods e.g. in cold rooms.

RFID technology allows for multiple identification tags to be read simultaneously without having to unpack the goods or pallets. This in turn significantly shortens the whole logistics process altogether.

Benefits of implementation:

  • significant time savings through simultaneous multiple tag reading
  • simplification and optimization of warehouse processes due to the ability of tag reading without direct optical contact with the reader
  • utilizable in extreme environmental conditions such as very low temperatures or excessive dirt etc.

For whom?

  • manufacturers
  • dry Cleaners
  • archives
  • companies using rotating reusable packaging
  • construction companies

"The equipment, supplies, and most of all the implementation services provided by SKK should be evaluated very highly."
